Every website was tested by Nova, Worktify's AI QA Engineer, using the same automated Website Score check anyone can run for free. It loads the homepage on desktop and on an emulated mid-range phone, and scores five categories, each from a set of weighted checks: performance (Core Web Vitals on the phone over a throttled slow-4G connection, as PageSpeed Insights does — 30%), SEO (20%), accessibility (automated WCAG 2 A/AA checks — 20%), reliability & user experience (15%), and mobile readiness (15%).
The sample is 79 Malaysian websites, mostly drawn from public lists of Malaysian domains and listed companies, plus sites submitted by visitors. It is not a random sample of every website in Malaysia. Each website counts once, using its most recent scan. Industries are assigned by Nova from each site's own content, and an industry needs at least 10 websites before it is shown.
Adult, gambling, and unsafe websites are excluded. These figures update automatically as new websites are tested.
